English Garden Tea

We have a fine English furniture store here in St. Louis Missouri called English Living, located at  1520 Washington Street where they bring antique and reproduction furniture over from England and Europe to our fair city. I just designed a window display for an English Garden Tea there. Since the London Tea Room is just next door I thought I would incorporate a tea theme into my display and since Spring is just around the corner, add a little garden touch. I wish St. Louis had more window displays like they use to, like back in the good old days. Add your comment and let us know what you think and stop in the tea room for a spot of tea, Love.

I used a lovely handcrafted table made from old english pine and a great raw pine hutch. Which I “dressed”, as they say, in traditional blue and white and plain white china. I suspended cups from a tree branch with sisal rope, for a bit of whimsy.
