Christmas time is a great time for gazing at some amazing window displays. Holiday windows all full of festive fun and animated magical lands bring out the child in us and remind us of Christmas past. It has always been a special treat to see what the store merchandisers will come up with. So, off we go to peek in some lovely holiday windows.

Bergdorf Goodman in NYC is always a treat with fantasy, fashion and some wonderful story lines. This years their theme is “Carnival of the Animals”. David Hoey and his crew of magic makers have come up with some imaginative interpretations, starting at 57th Street on Fifth Avenue.

“Breaking the Ice” is a garden party of animals all in their winter whites. The hostess is dressed in her one of a kind cape designed by J. Mendell.

“Artists and Models” is full of folk art animals made from leather and wood. The artist is a mannequin in designer clothes assisted by an antique leather monkey.
